La formación docente ante los desafíos contemporáneos: Integrar los ODS para una educación transformadora
Sinopsis
This reflective article examines the central role of teacher education in addressing contemporary global challenges and integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into school curricula. Based on a documentary review, it analyzes international frameworks such as the LOMLOE in Spain and explores their relevance to the Mexican context. The article argues that competencies such as systems thinking and global citizenship are essential to promote transformative education. It also highlights curricular innovations such as interdisciplinarity and the International Baccalaureate Global Contexts framework. Findings suggest that continuous teacher education, sustainable curriculum design, and institutional support are fundamental for advancing democratic and equitable educational systems.
