De la ecuación a la imagen: simulación y visualización matemática en RStudio

Resumen

Este artículo reflexiona sobre el papel de la simulación computacional y la visualización matemática como herramientas centrales para explorar modelos avanzados cuya complejidad supera, en muchos casos, el tratamiento analítico tradicional. Se argumenta que, al implementarse en R y desarrollarse en el entorno RStudio, las ecuaciones dejan de operar únicamente como expresiones simbólicas y se transforman en sistemas dinámicos susceptibles de experimentación computacional. A través de la generación de gráficas, superficies, redes y representaciones tridimensionales, la simulación permite interpretar estructuras abstractas, identificar patrones, analizar estabilidad y reconocer comportamientos emergentes. En este marco, se enfatiza que la visualización no sustituye el rigor matemático, sino que lo complementa al conectar formalización teórica y percepción, favoreciendo la apropiación del conocimiento científico.
